About the event
Supplies Needed for Class:
fabric scraps. We'll be making scrappy fabric for the potholders. The heat-resistant padding will be provided. You will be able to make one or two potholders in class.
Bring your own sewing machine if you have one. Four store machines are available to the first to sign up and request them.
You must be familiar with sewing machines: how to thread them, thread your bobbin, and sew a straight seam. Some assistance will be available, but no one-on-one instruction is available during class. (A beginning sewing class is available for $25/hr)
Fabric for class can be purchased at CTS, but NOT just prior to class. Fabric can also be purchased at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or online.
Please check the class description for fabric/accessories required prior to attending class.
